Maintenance weekend

今週末は、ボートのメンテナンスに励んだ。それもこれも、この写真の場所に戻るため。私は、もっぱら、ゴムボート担当。ロブさんは、モーターや帆など。土曜日の夜は、ハーバー内でだけれど、ボートで眠ったので、よく眠れた。

昨晩も、結局、ウッドストーブに火を入れた。日が落ちると気温が落ちて、まだ快適ではない。この調子じゃ、来月のトリップも、薪が必要？

Owning a sailboat does not allow us to only enjoy sailing. Lots of maintenance are necessary all the time. So, this weekend we stayed in Bellingham and worked on our sailboat & dinghy. I actually like taking care of them. Because without them, I would never be able to have fun on the water. They are so special to me. I have no hesitation to help Rob with keeping our boat in a good shape.
