Wing & Wing Race

メモリアルデーウィークエンドトリップのひとこま。ラスさんのボートを追いかける、Yankee Doodle。この後、見事に追いついた。

誰かを負かしてやろうという競争心が強いのは、ロブさんよりも私。帆の調整が自分でできないから、結局ロブさんを巻き込むことになるんだけれど。小さいのに偉大なボートと、スキルのある船長（ロブさん）のおかげで、私の競争心は満たされる。

I always like to race when Rob and I are sailing. I am much more competitive than Rob. I always find somebody to race and I start to chase. Then, most of the time, a boat I am chasing changes direction. Then I am in a trouble. Not to make the race end so quickly, I need to ask Rob to adjust sails. So, he gets involved even if he does not want to. At the end, Yankee Doodle usually allows us to win. Sometimes even bigger boats can be caught by Yankee Doodle! Great boat and skilled skipper's collaboration. They are my treasures.
