Wing and Wing

"Wing and Wing" と呼ばれる、セーリングのテクニック。ラスさんのボートでご紹介。

このテクニックは、真後ろから風が吹いている場合のみに有効。二種の帆が、左右に配置され、後方からの風をキャッチするために、ボートが前進することができる。そよ風のようなシチュエーションでは、風を捕えるのがかなり難しく、舵を取るのが大好きな私も、そういう場合は、ロブさんに、どうぞ～。

因みに、明日のクラス終了後、１泊だけのボートトリップに出ます。風、吹くといいな。

Russ is sailing wing and wing to head to Orcas Island. His boat and our boat left Spencer Spit under sail in the morning on May 26 '11 and headed to East Sound, Orcas Island. Winds were very soft at the beginning and later got much stronger!
