Dreaming of islands...
Rob took the hatch cover off last Friday. Because there have been water drops from a couple of screw holes of it for at least last 3 years. We knew it would be a big job. That is partly why we didn't do it. But the biggest reason would be there were more important issues to take care of with the boat.
Anyway, we finally faced the issue. Because we could not go sailing because of the failure of Atomic 4's cooling system we discovered during last trip.
Epoxy treatment, sanding, applying teak oil, making new screw holes, re-bedding, after all of these were done, the hatch cover was installed.
Now, we wait for rain to test.
