Dinghy - Before -, our Yankee 30 in the back

ゴム部分の長年の汚れを丁寧に洗い除いて、木の部分をサンディングたのは、先々週末。家に運び込んだゴムボートに、１日１回、５日かけて、ロブさんが、ニス塗りを施した結果、見違えるほど、綺麗になった。

We have done serious maintenance with our dinghy. It is not because we had nothing to do with our sailboat. (We never run out of things to repair.) We just wanted our dinghy to look nicer. So we decided to do it!

First of all, I scrubbed its rubber part. I could successfully brought up its original color.

Sanding wooden parts of the dinghy required a lot of time. Which was also my job. After that once a day Rob applied varnish to it for 5 days.

(Dinghy was parking like a bike in front of our front door for days...)



Now it's ready to go back to the sea for 4th of July weekend trip!
