I try to use my Nikon D50 every day.
In order to use it, I go for a walk to look for interesting
objects. And what I can find is usually flowers.
Actually, I do like taking pictures of flowers.
Because flowers can show the season.
When I was walking with carrying my camera, I met a gentle man
who was carring his brand-new camera.
He told me that he has been taking pictures of neighborhood.
I had chat with him for a while.
"Sayonara" was the last word he and I exchanged with each other.
I feel happy when somebody notices me and speaks to me.
Therefore, I would like to say to him,
"thank you for finding me who have a very quiet life here."

すてきな出会いできてよかったですね、花を日々撮って暮らすのって素敵だと思いますよ。それに声をかけてくれる人もいる。アメリカにいてそういうふれあいができることにわたしも感謝したいです。それはアメリカ人が陽気だからかもしれませんが、そういう意味ではここはいい場所ですよね。
hotaruさん。アメリカ人のそういう人なつっこさって、心に染みる事が本当によくあります。日本がすごく恋しい時に、アメリカの良さを私に思い出させてくれるのは、通りすがりの"Hi!"と声をかけてくれた見知らぬ人だったなんて、しょっちゅうです。私はまだまだ日本人の？！恥ずかしがりやの一面が抜けず、自分から声を発することができないのですが、年齢・性別関係ない出会いを楽しめるのが、ここアメリカなのではと思い始めたこの頃です。
