Today is Memorial Day here in the U.S.A.
Rob and I went to a nursery.
Although a lot of shops were closed,
the nursery was luckily opened.
We bought a couple of Petunias, lettuces, peppers,
new pots, and plant soil.
As soon as we came back home, I worked on planting.
Needless to say, Rob taught me how to plant!
(He has worked at a nursery when he was a student.)
I will be able to take pictures of those I planted.
For today, I put a picture of the bud of the poppy
which we have and we look forward to seeing the flower of.

あ、いいなぁ。ご主人とnurseryにいかれるなんてうらやましいです。去年、旦那がトマトを植えたいといって買ってきた種、一緒に植えたかったけど手伝ってもくれませんでしたよ〜（泣）結局寒さに負けて枯れてしまったのでした。さて今年は近所さんから２ドルで大きなトマトの苗木を買ってきたようです。。

hotaruさん。リンクの件、どうぞどうぞ！アパート暮らしなので、大したガーデニングはしないのですが、デッキで、料理に使える野菜やハーブをポット栽培しています。トマト、うちも苗木からです。買って家に帰る途中に、重い食料品のバッグが苗木の上に落ちてしまって、見事に折れて小さくなってしまったんですけどね。。。負けずにたくましく育ってくれるといいのだけれど。
